Music comes from a place deep within my heart and is melodic and raw. My songs weave an honest story as I experience the beauty and messiness of life, the emotions of motherhood and the power of human connection.
Soulty hints at the cleansing effects and flavour enhancement of salt which is carried through the music to feed the soul. And I hope you’ll feel it while listening to my latest album SkyRainStorm (release date October 8 2022) - vulnerable, soothed and then, revitalised. My folk/pop sound is influenced by blues, gospel, funk, soul and rock. My deep spirituality re-enforces messages of hope.
Germany is my birthplace with both parents being classical musicians, so music runs through my veins. I grew up with 6 siblings to perform alongside, and learnt piano, guitar and songwriting early in childhood. I found particular joy performing in bands and collaborating with other musicians - a love which continues to this day. My passion turned to profession, first as a music teacher and then as a songwriter.
The success of my Debut Album Sky Rain Storm 2022 is followed by my folk Single 'Young' (release date 31 May 2023).
Recent performances include local gigs at the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre, the Hooked On Portland Festival and The Grampians Grape Escape.
